Στην Πελοπόννησο, το Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών, σε συνεργασία με την αποκεντρωμένη διοίκηση Πελοποννήσου, δυτικής Ελλάδας και Ιονίου, παρακολουθεί τις επιπτώσεις της κλιματικής αλλαγής και της υπερεκμετάλλευσης των υδατικών πόρων στην περιοχή τού Υπόγειου Υδατικού Συστήματος (ΥΥΣ) του ποταμού Λαρισσού, με στόχο τη βελτίωση της ποιοτικής και ποσοτικής κατάστασης του ΥΥΣ και τη δημιουργία γεωπύλης και ιστοσελίδας για τη δημοσιοποίηση των ερευνητικών αποτελεσμάτων του έργου.

Actions for the improvement of the qualitative and quantitative situation and the adaptation to climate change of the coastal Underground Water System “Larissos” of the catchment area of Peiros-Vergas-Pinios, Northern Peloponnese Water Department

In the Peloponnese, the University of Patras is working with the Decentralized Administration of the Peloponnese, Western Greece, and the Ionian Islands to study the impacts of climate change and excessive use of water resources in the area around the Larissos River’s Ground Water Body (GWB). The goal is to enhance the quality and quantity of the GWB and develop a geoportal and website to share the project’s research findings.
