Στην Κίμωλο, ο δήμος Κιμώλου, σε συνεργασία με το Γεωπονικό Πανεπιστήμιο της Αθήνας και τη Νορβηγική εταιρεία Vista Analyse AS αυξάνει την παροχή νερού ύδρευσης με την κατασκευή Μονάδας Αφαλάτωσης Αντίστροφης Όσμωσης. Η Μονάδα αποτελεί επέκταση της ήδη υπάρχουσας εγκατεστημένης αφαλάτωσης και τροφοδοτείται ενεργειακά από φωτοβολταϊκό σύστημα, ενώ ενσωματώνει καινοτόμο Μονάδα Επεξεργασίας της Άλμης (ΜΕΑ).
Installation of green desalination plant in Kimolos island incorporating innovative technology of brine treatment-BriZE
In Kimolos, the Municipality of Kimolos has worked with the Agricultural University of Athens and the Norwegian company Vista Analyze AS to improve the water supply. They have constructed a Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant, an extension of the existing desalination plant. The new plant has been powered by a photovoltaic system and also featured an innovative Brine Treatment Unit.
